Terrible experience!!! We paid to camp here from June 30- July 3rd but we left a day early do to the conditions. The women's washroom was broken and they didn't seem to eager to fix it for almost 24 hours ( Ridiculous especially on Canada Day!!!). A bunch of us women had to use the men's washroom, which was completely disgusting. When my friend told the "front desk" about the this they told her to walk to the next washroom which was 20 mins away, are you kidding me? The showers were also broken the ENTIRE time and with the campsite being muddy and having children there, one would think they would have those facilities working. I also noticed ( once the washroom was fixed) that the workers used the same mop to mop the washroom floors and toilet seats with. They only entered with one mop and believe me I was watching them very hard. So gross. Don't ever camp here, especially with children. They really don't care about the campers, obviously just a money grab. They refused to partially refund us for the day we never used as well. Never ever ever again!
Amazing campground with a beautiful view. Bathrooms are modern with individual showers for great privacy and they were always clean during my family's stay here.
Some weekends it seems like they overbook and it gets a lot less private. Nice views. Beuatiful beach across the street.
We frequent it most summers. I like that you get passes to upper Canada village.
The park is beautiful but the management is nothing short of atrocious, for 5 years I have been trying to get the government to address the waste issue, insufficient and inadequate is the best way to describe it. Plastic garbage everywhere, getting into the river and contaminating it.
This is family oriented site. Love coming here every year.
